Welcome to REFinder
offers a searchable database of the ethnographic records from our investigations in 24 schools across the UK, covering both state and religious schools.
It does not claim to be either definitive or exhaustive. Nonetheless, the work has thrown up some very complex and interesting findings concerning the nature of texts and examinations, the liminal spaces in religious education, religious education and citizenship, student and teacher attitudes to name but a few.
While the data base is not co-terminus with the complete data set, for reasons of anonymity and confidentiality it nevertheless represents a very substantial ethnographic record.
It is freely available to academics in the UK with an ac.uk
